Regular check-ups combined with a thorough examination can help determine if your pet is dealing with any issues that need to be addressed. A proactive approach to your pet’s care may help extend the life of your pet and can help them live more comfortably, especially if your pet is a senior. Pets, just like their owners, benefit from regular health checks and screenings. Do not simply wait until there is an ongoing problem to have your pet examined. In many instances, issues can be identified during a routine examination allowing treatments to be developed and implemented in order to stop these issues from turning into larger problems. Typically, treatments started late in the process are more difficult and more expensive.
